Slut nugget??

Anyway that's an interesting find, I was completely unaware that the A1 was still in production somewhere in the world. What a bastardized weirdo, it has the four-door Golf/Rabbit body with the later Cabriolet grille, and a modern interior. It looks bizarre to see a Passat-style modern VW interior in the body of the old Rabbit.

I was going to say that, just guessing but yeah, it's very close to the look of the golf.... they wouldn't make two cars in the came category, chances are anyway. I like the 'rabbit' name better anyway.....

That's why I said earlier that I don't understand why they decided to start calling it the Rabbit again. It was named the Rabbit just for North American markets AFAIK, and then they standardized the name to Golf, left it that way for more than 20 years, and now suddenly decided it should be called the Rabbit again... Marketing, I guess they figure it will create interest in the car and raise sales of the Golf a.k.a. Rabbit.

Yup I agree with you 100%...... plus with Dodge/Chrysler bring back every single car they produced back in the 60's, etc it does make sense that others will follow. Most car manufacturers ride on eachothers coat tails all the time when it comes to 'ideas'.......
