Zip tie on your shift cable ends like this and you should never have a problem popping off cable ends again ...

The zip tie around the cable end is looped thru the zip tie around the linkage arm.

hey guys sorry to jump on the bandwagon too but i did it as well, but i don't think i'm as happy as you guys. i have a stage 4 clutch and a sts already maybe thats why it's so different. the pull and push of the throw is alot better for sure. But the issue i have is the pop that i get when i pull it out and put it back it gear, maybe the issue is with my clutch it was has been acting wierd pedal is very soft but the clutch still grabs like a mofo. i just seems a lil harder to get into get gear put the rest is fine!! hey were can i check the tranny fluid to make sure i not driving around dry!?!

anyone know if a non-SVT MTX has this counterweight? I've always been bummed by the spongy engage of my ST's shifter.

I like it now nust drove it a bit more, and I can deal with quick, easy shifts

It "Feels" like if you really slam it into gear it would snap the linkages, but I guess that is because there is no weight pushing against the shifteranymore....I don't slam it into gear, but I will keep this in the back of my mind......all in all, AWESOME!

this and the Fog light mod are the best mods of all of 'em........FREE!!!

He won't. I took mine off with an AEM CAI and didn't touch it. I even had nitrous lines and a nozzle in the intake and had no troubles.

This + stock shifter chopped down 2.5" + tranny bracket made out of .5" solid steel= better than any VF mount/STS only.
