Its funny how people either love this mod or hate it. I've had mine off for over a year and I still love how it feels

On a side note it also stoped my reverse from grinding, when I bought the car it never liked going in to reverse and now that I think about it it hasnt done it in a long time

Did both the taping the the throttle positioning sensor and the counterweight removal yesterday. I might have to go with the drilled counterweight, the light shifter stole some of the car's "soul" :)

Ordered the Ford Racing short shifter, I'll see how it goes after that. It's great to have a stock SVT with some many cheap mods to improve it.

Where is the full mod instructions on the first page? I just see step 3 but nothing about where it is or how to get at it.

I just performed the !Clutch Switch mod and loving it so far! :2thumbs:

Can weight be added to the shifter without the original mechanism? I kinda threw mine out :(
And with my linkages getting a little sloppy, I think I might want some weight back on there...

I took mine off a few days ago and my linkages aren't loosening anymore :)

It's got a more digital feel to it. It just clicks into place instead of gliding into place. I love it and hate it. I feel like more of a panzy when i drive regularly but when I go balls out I feel like a race car driver lol! I guess i like it. haha

It's fun!

its been posted on here before but cut the weight off the bracket and put it back on. That will help it glide into place but with a much lighter feel.
