while trying to hook the counterweight back on , i realized that i had broken the screw in half, i have the top part of the screw, the rest is still in, along with the bushing and the metal piece, theres just a little bit of the screw showing, but nothing could be used to pull it off... donno wat to do, my mechanic said its gonna be a pain to take it off, so wat do u guys think?... also, if i leave it as is, is it safe and reliable???

I just did the counterweight removal. i notice faster shifting. also when ever i shifted from 1st to 2nd i would hear a noise which i thought was from the tranny but must have been that counter weight banging up against something since after i removed it nothing. im not too sure about the whole sticky 1-2 shifts since when i power shift i still sometimes miss shift since it wont go all the way in to 2nd

i still have the counterweight but to reinstall it, i need the 2 parts i circled in this pic below, i figure since u guys love the new way the tranny feels, u wouldnt mind making some money out of selling them, also i wont have to pay retail for them, so it works both ways.
thanks

^^^Good luck with that one. From my understanding that's a getrag part that might be hard to get ahold of. Hopefully someone doesn't mind parting with it.
