Okay... I took the plunge and did it today. I honestly didn't like the feel. It is definetly a preference mod, and it is good that it can be reversed easily. I may try to modify the weight itself and see if I can't shave off about half of it.

Well I finally got around to doing this a couple days ago, Tried it with the entire thing off and hated it, so i just drilled the weight off and installed the lever. Now i love it. It is about a thousand times better, i really didnt think it would make it feel as much better as it did.

I'm with you scrammer with the weightless bracket. There is no way I would go back if I could. Now that Tom's tune is onboard I love the car that much more!

I noticed a very little difference. once I installed a motor mount and a ford racing short shifter I went back to stock and it felt like crap so I took it off again... felt better with mods.

I love having just enough room for two clicks on the wrench .....still a really easy mod, specially with the CAI, so I didn't even mess with the airbox.
this makes my CFM shifter soooo much nicer!! I'll never put it back on. BTW, WD40, how was your counterweight so shiny? Mine was nasty when I took it off.....eeewww.....

I think I'm gonna give this weightless bracket a go when it gets warmer out.
