Passenger mount

Hopefully this is the right place to post this. First post, first time here. Lots of info.
Ive been having a problem with the passenger engine mount on my '02 svt focus. They keep breaking. Top plastic piece and rubber pop out. Hasnt gotten into the belt so far. My first one was bought on ebay. Lesson learned! 2nd mount i bought from orielys autoparts for $112. They said it doesnt say for svt, but rather for an '05 focus. They told me this to me this last time taking broken mounts to them. When i got the mount the first time from them, i compared the mounting holes and they all lined up. Actually bolted to the car without any issue at all. But theyd only last a month. So. My qiestion.
Is there a difference between an '05 passenger side mount and an '02 svt passenger side mount?
If there is, wheres the a reputable place to get the right mount?
Im getting a lil to good, and quick, at changing this part!!
Jason
Thanks in advance!!

Ford mount usually gets recommended for the passenger side, aftermarket seems to last a month or a few B4 vibrations come back (if they ever stop completely)

Might want to check the other mounts with that fast an issue, sacked everywhere else will put too much load on the Pass. side.

I called my local ford dealer. They said $290.72! I got the part number, 2M5Z-6038-AA.
I dont trust ebay, but was curious. Typed in the part number and there it is, $212 with free shipping. Got a little more curious and went to amazon, typed in the number. There it is there too, but only for $56.72 total. Why such a price difference? Both ebay and amazon say svt only. The amazon mount manufacturer is by motorking. Any good? I might just have to park it because i lost my job last month and cant drop $300 on a mount. :(

The mount is $176 at Tascaparts.com which is where Steve works, he's an old trusted vendor on FJ. There's even a "discount" Ford dealer on this site you can try. http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=81

Parts store mounts are junk I used to replace them on fleet delivery Foci and the mounts would last three months.

I would have to agree with sniperfocus, avoid cheap parts. I wouldn't even trust that $40 part from amazon.

The Ford passenger mount is hydraulic, the aftermarket ones aren't (at least the ones I had to install) which is why they're so cheap.

If you can grab an '05 mount from the junkyard, even the Tasca site says it fits. It would probably last longer than the cheap ones. Or even put a WTB in the BST section.

If you are willing to deal with a little engine vibration, I would recommend the steeda engine mount. CFM has them on their site for 149. If you are consistently going through the passenger side mount, be aware that the ground strap on that side may get damaged from it moving about (happened on mine). I replaced every OE mount with steeda mounts. They are an excellent quality part, you WILL get engine vibration in the cabin though.
