Does anyone know the location of the fuel filter, just got my fuel pump replaced through the recall and figure that I should replace the filter as well. Ford wanted to charge to much, so I bought the fuel filter my self and will change it. But don't know where it is?
Please Help!! ibspanky1980

Passenger side in front of the rear wheel and 1/2 way between the wheel and center of the car towards the driver wheel. It'll take a small flat blade screwdriver to remove the clips. Throw them away and install the ones that came with the filter. I think it's a 7mm bolt that holds the clamp and filter to the car.
Make sure you've relieved the fuel pressure before you take anything loose. Have some rags handy, as the filter will have some fuel still in it. |

Pull the fuse for the fuel pump. Start the car and run it until it dies. Crank it a few more times. Should be good to go then.
Make sure you have some rags handy to sop up the spilled fuel. The lines and filter will still have some fuel in them. Jim |

Also, Jim Quick Question! My SparkPlug wires from FS are burnt a little bit from my headers through the Protective jacket- Could that cause my Car to stall or start to stall??? Thanks Man!

Sure would make it run funny if they're shorting out on the header. Prop your hood, and splash some water on the wires, if you hear the zap, you've got issues. Randy won't warranty burnt wires, so if you have to buy a set go with the Magnecores.
For the fuse, it's under the hood, #12. |
