For Sale: Genuine Focus RS parts

Well, i have held onto this for a long time now and now i decided to get rid of it. So up for grabs are two parts from a genunine RS Focus.

Price:$90 for pedals AND button, plus shipping. (free shipping if person decides to take only pedals and not whole assembly)

READ FIRST BEFORE BUYING

From what i can gather the RS pedals are for RH drive. However, the pedals can be removed from the arms and put on LHD pedals (with some work). If someone wants to purchase ONLY the pedals i can remove them and shipping would be much cheaper this way.

First up the RS SPARCO pedals, they are in decent condition, the rubber on top of the clutch pedal is warped and i have since removed it. So the person putting it back on will have to apply an ahedsive material to lay it back down. The brake has a slight bubble around the allen screw area that is raised. The gas pedal is in great condition, i cannot see any warping. Like i mentioned above i can take off ONLY the pedals and send those out.

Next up is a genuine RS starter button! From ford this button cost 100 pounds (from england) with shipping and VAT it comes close to $200! I have hooked mine up and it really does not take much to do so, maybe $20 in parts and you then have a push button start! Whoever buys this I can help out with the install as much as i can remember.

Any questions let me know!
thanks,

matt=

When i wired mine up i got all the supplies at radio shack. Wires, relay, crimps, electrical tape all came to around $20 bux. Mine has been installed for almost a year now and no problems at all.

For the button i would like to get $40, but i would really want to get rid of both together, i need them out of my house!

Bump!

I'd have to say that Matt (lunarc) isn't kidding when he says the starter button cost him about $200...I was the person who managed to get it for him. Matt managed to find a part number for it (from an RS Focus Forum in the UK), and I got one of my family (in England) to order and ship it. It stunned both Matt and I when we found that the money he spent only included the button...no wiring, not instructions, nothing else!!!!! It's a sexy button, and exactly what is used in the RS Focus, so what Matt is selling is absolutely legitimate RS.

So, if you'd want to install a push button starter in your car, this is by far the best you can get!

By the way, altough Matt and I obviously have had e-mail and forum contact, we've never met (yet that is...as he still owes me a beer for getting him this part !!!!!!), so take this as a friendly bump form someone who has seen the part and for what Matt is asking, it's a steal!

Cheers, Shane
