Lookin at doing some interior lighting! Need some help

I was looking to do some interior lighting in my 2001 ford focus LX, i wanna do blue led strips by your feet including the back seat floors, in my friends 04 ford explorer he has this fake buttons in his dash that he can pop out and put a switch in there thats real so he has his interior lights hooked to that, is there a such option on a 01 focus, if not anyone know a decent looking idea for a switch for the floor llights??

led "ash" tray

this works amazing. i just did this for my car...
although, if you only need one switch, this may be overkill.

I love SvviftSVT's idea, prolly the best place to mount a lot of switches. If you don't have heated seats, then I would go to a junkyard and get a center console with the heated seat buttons and then you would have a nice OEM look to your lighting. While you have the console out, also install some cupholder led's in it!

I ran my wires behind the dash console and under the center console.
