Trouble finding a place.
Ok here is the deal. Where I live in the boondocks, there aren't many garages that will do custom work on cars, and I will need to find a place down the future when I get some engine mods that I shouldn't do myself. Would a Ford dealer put stuff on my car, like supercharger, pullies,headers, ect?

You gotta be kidding me. NO WAY. They wouldn't even put my springs on my car for me. I had to go find a race shop to do it, but now that I have found one, they said they will do anything to my car that I want them to do. They are pretty reputable too.
I suggest you try to find a place like that. When I mentioned my springs to my service advisor, her eyes got wide and she said "we can't do that kind of stuff". So I was like "Ok, I'll go somewhere else."

the dealerships, themselves will only work on oem parts. The mechanics most of the time do jobs on the side though... springs... pullies.. a full supercharger install wouldn't be one.

Yeah, but what about parts like the JRSC that Ford offers through it's Ford Racing catalogue.
I thought for sure they would install those products. |

well this sucks..cuz there arent any race shops around..there r like ummm an hour.2 hour away n they a pain in the ass to go there..n the garages around suck..they only do minor things..like fix a muffler with a leak..it sucks...

i don't know what you guys are talking about but the ford dealer by me will do any upgrade you want them too. they have a guys that specifically sells aftermarket stuff

some dealers actually customize a car or two and put them on the lot. usually new rims, altezzas, tint, muffler, ground effects blah blah blah. they'll rice them out from the factory.
