And AutoOutcast has the ability to go with a 93 octane tune. If he did that, it will allow him to run more timing and run a little leaner, making more power and most likely breaking that time he has now. I'd venture to say hed run a 15.4ish with ia different tune, meaning he would beat you by about a car length, which on the street most would think they have kept up.

i would like to say something pertaining to the time in my sig....it was not with the mods listed in my sig... at that particular time i ran the 15.695 all i had done was : focussport 4-2-1 header, FR 9mm wires, and a 93 octane tune on and old style diablo chip with the rear of the car gutted. (112 octane in tank) my best time with all mods in sig is listed in first post of this thread. the 15.695 was put down on 6/17/04 @ 6:59 pm. it shakes down like this:

i will also preface this by saying the time listed on the first page was with the CEL on... it came on on my way to the drag strip and firemanfrank and focuszxt can attest the light was on when i ran the 15.813 @ 87 (also only on an 87 octane tune.) now... any questions?

Wait, you said you ran the 15.695 on the 93 octane tune or the 87 octane tune? I thought you said it was on the 87 octane tune and then you just said it was on a 93 octane tune. I am not starting a slap fest, I am just seeing if you made a typo or said it wrong before.

Nope, he didn't. And it was pretty simple to find out what he said.

...... and when i ran the times in this thread i was on an 87 octane tune.. i have a 93 tune with a studder box program on it from mcnews that will get me down the track just a WEEE BIT faster and trapping SLIGHTLY higher than whats seen...

... i wouldnt mind going again sometime after i get my 93 tune and a few other goodies sorted out for the car.

the 15.695 was run with an old style cookie cutter diablo chip with a 93 octane tune on it from randy at focussport, along with FR wires and their 4-2-1 raceheader on stock rubber. the 15.813 @ 87 run in the first post in this thread was run with all mods listed in sig on an 87 tune on an sct chip from ray @ mcnews ... hope that cleared some things up
