10.06 @ 70.6mph...spinning off the line and, to what I feel, a slipping clutch. As I said, I don't think my car is fast.

And your quarter mile conversion will most likely be off. Those calculators don't take air resistance at higher speeds or road friction into consideration.

well I think a mid 14 second car is pretty damn quick and as soon as I get my header and tune I should be there.

for an NA 4-banger it is pretty quick...but I doubt you will run a mid 14 with just an intake, header, exhaust, and tune. You would need to cut some pretty low 60s to do that.

umm...no he didnt.

Quoted from this thread from him: "now im around 14.7-14.8" - which is high 14s.

And that was with the BS delete kit which frees up like 5-8hp doesnt it? also allowing it to rev quicker. You don't have that.

I don't have a header or tune... I said when I get it I should be running that... and the blance shaft delete isn't that much of a difference... I may get it but I am not sure. and whats wrong with a 14.7-14.8 quarter with just a few mods???

I know you said that...I understand that. What I am saying is that if you do the same mods as he does without the B.S. delete you won't be running the same as his times let alone a mid 14.

Nothin is wrong with a high 14...as I said it is quick for an NA 4-banger. Overall though, I don't really think it is that spectacular.

I never said that you said it was...I said I didn't think it was.

And you never mentioned cams before when you said you would be able to run a mid-14, you said header and a tune assumingly being added to your current mods. I know I am on your case, but keep your story consistent and I won't have a reason to be

With cams, header, and tune + your current mods, you will indeed be faster than him, most likely running mid 14s.
