I got my zetec to do better....I have run a best 1/8th mile of 10.06@70.61mph with a 2.3 60' then my 1/4 was a 15.65@88.03. My stock 55K+ miles clutch is wasting horsepower, espcecially when Is shift hard at 6 grand - stupid slippage.

If I can do it, so can you...and all I have is an intake, header, hi-flow cat, exhaust, crank pulley, coil, plugs, wires, and a custom SCT tune by Lund Racing.

i think i have a hard time understanding why your times are so quick. i ran 13 times on saturday with 60 ft times being in 2.3-2.4 and my reaction time ranging form .003 to .5. And my quickest times were at 10.0. And you can't say anything about it being a 2.0 because my friends cougar with a v-6(cai) was running a 10.3 and had the same 60 ft time as me.

he might drive better than you do...and a 10.1@68 isn't that fast, he might be running high 15s in the quarter. MIGHT. With that mph, he'd be lucky to see a 15.8 @ 86.

ok well you ran a 10 second flat which is good, but with intake, header, exhaust and a few other mods... you coulda done better and since my car could only pull in a 10.8 last time it was at the track I really think his time is fast.

I don't even think my car is fast...it is quick and nimble, but not fast; the same goes for his car. There is a difference between fast and quick (depending on the connotation)

Compared to your time, yes, his car is faster, but not fast...it is quick.
