Moving on to Performance mods now.

I already have the 2.5 cat back exhaust now I am wanting more. I am not interested in boosting my car, just want it a bit faster. I am looking for a CAI and wanted the MM but not sure whats going on with that now. I also want a header(that will give me a good increase too right?) I know there has been alot of threads like this one and I appologize but I was just wondering what people thought I should do next. Also if you recommend something post who to get it from. Alot of websites seem to no longer be there.

Thank you,

intake, header, a tune, cams. timing. also i recommend a short shifter, and maybe a rear engine mount to compliment the shifter.

That is pretty much the list I was looking into, thank you for confirming that that is what I need to do.

Look at all the CAI's. If I was purchasing one I'd go for the F2 or K&N myself. The reason being is that the MM and FS CAI's use the stock MAF tube, but the other two I mentioned replace the entire air intake.

It just depends on how picky you are.

OK, nevermind, the F2 Duratec air intake is no longer listed on their website. If you're interested you can call and ask them yourself. If you're planning on ordering a MM intake, you might want to get one from www.newedgeperformance.com instead of Marcy's site. A certain percentage of people who order parts from MM don't get their parts for several months.

The K&N is for the 2.3 not the 2.0.
The newedge website does not offer the MM cai.
According to the F2 website they do not offer a CAI for the Duratec

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the K&N works for the 2.0 also, a lot of the stuff that's says 2.3 is also fine for the 2.0

about roughly 99% of the 2.3 duratec stuff will fit the 2.0duratec, and that includes 100% of the CAI's, exhaust, and header(s)

only minor differences come into play, i believe with rods and pistons, i believe.
