cfm race cat v orp

is there much difference between the race cat and the orp other than noise, i`am going to keep the rest of stock exhaust setup, dont mind a little more rasp but dont want a civic coffee can sound or drone in the cab .

If your keeping everything else stock either will work , if your state requires a CAT then do the race cat
If your keeping it stock why change from the stock CAT

To free up the exhaust, probably. I am looking to gain a little there as well, but I want to keep it stealthy (and not wake the neighbors every morning) . What about the ORP plus adding a resonator somewhere? What is the power difference between the orp or hfc?

Well tom was trying to liberate some sound and a few ponies with out getting all ricey and not cut up a perfectly good std system , along with your tune sometime in the next few weeks. And its a cheaper route than a full cat back

But we're not talking about a full cat back, we are discussing the cat itself.

I'd say it depends on the resonator you get. You'd probably get a tad bit more butt hp w/ the orp vs a hfc. Whatever you do your changing the tone of the exhaust.
