Car: 04 ZX3
Mods: Spax adj. struts, BAT springs, short shifter, intake, shorty header, Euro front bumper
Class: SCCA: FSP (if I'm on R-comps mounted on my steelies) or STS (if I'm running on my street 16s)
Class: NASA: F class regardless of tires and I have a few points left
Region: Normally with the Clemson Sports Car Club (which uses NASA classing) but we're having lot issues, so now I jump around between South Carolina SCCA, Atlanta SCCA and Central Carolina SCCA
Rally Spec Focus wanna-be!

Just need a cage, some harnesses, helmets, driving suit, um, everything

Car: 2002 Ford Focus SE (95K miles)
Mods: SVT suspension, Eibach sway bars, F2 sway bar end links, P-51 rear shock shims, Brembo slotted rotors, Ford Racing plug wires, Bosal flexpipe, MBRP exhaust, crappy SPC camber plates, stainless steel brake hoses, I don't know, I think that's all.
Class: Had been running STS, next season I'll be running FSP, while adding Kumho V710's to the above list :) mmm rrrrrrrr-compounds ( I want to be a pirate).
Region: I run with the Cumberland Motor Club, most all events are in Maine, we have our first event of the year in Glenn, NH at Storyland however.
This year was my first full season, I was 3rd in STS...I think, we haven't had our awards banquet yet. And I have no idea about where I ended the season in PAX.
STS is very competitive in my region, and I don't want to sink the tremendous amount of money into my car to make it more STS competitive, so I'm moving into FSP which I believe is much more suited for the Focus, plus it lets me run sticky-happy-go-fast tires :)
Bye Bye Focus

I've been autocrossing since I was 17. Love that sport!

2002 SVT Focus (G Stock)
Hoosier Competition Tires
K&N filter
That's all!

Non SCCA Autocross - Greater Washington Sector Mercedes Benz Club

Results posted here:

2006 -
1st Overall non Benz Classes (April)
3rd Overall non Benz Classes (July)
4th Overall non Benz Classes (September)
1st Overall non Benz Classes (October)

We have a season points total that requires we compete in at least 5 events for championship points. I race with a Grand Am Team and our race schedule conflicted with autocross. So, I didn't accumulate enough points to qualify for end of year results. We'll see how 2007 plays out.

2005 - Took a break from the game

2004 - 3rd Overall in Championship points (Beat out in my own car by my instructor!)

2003 - 3rd Overall in Championship Points (On Street Tires !!)

2000 - 2nd Overall in Championship Points (96 Formula Firebird F Stock)

1999 - 2nd Overall in Championship Points (96 Formula Firebird F Stock)

1998 - 4th Overall in Championship Points (96 Formula Firebird F Stock)

since I bought the focus in 2003, I am impressed more and more by it at each event. Depending on the course, I can flat out run much more powerful and much more expensive cars on a regular basis. Even in raw times.

There is a real pleasure when a Porsche, STI, Corvette, Benz or BMW driver looks down his nose at my little car and then slinks off beaten.

"You paid $80K for that beautiful machine. I only paid $17K for mine. How's that working for you?" :-)
