Whoa, easy tiger, nothing's wrong with buying one... just saying, that's kind of an expensive car for a teacher. Perhaps teachers get paid better in NY than they do in Northern California, because out here there are more students driving the BMW that mommy and daddy bought them than there are teachers driving brand new BMWs.

^^^nah man im not flipping out im just asking calmly, how much are salaries down there? Yea on long island they get paid alot, less in the city. Right outta college im guarenteed 50k and thats if i looked for a job 2 years ago, by the time i get out and get my masters itll be more. Plus then teachers make a bunch of money ontop of it for extra things they do, 10k-20k here for sports coach, a few thousand there for this and that. It depends on where you teach what districts etc, there are some teachers making 100k+. Ill be alright lol.

M3 will be accompanying my SVTF in exactly 2 years..... most likely E46 not E90

In regards to the E90 335 I really think BMW has set the bar for the entry luxury sedan with this one... I expect it to out perform all of it's rivals in the upcoming tests

This is off-topic, but since it's your thread and you asked... California teachers are paid higher than the national average, but the pay is still low overall (considering the amount of learning and work that goes into becoming a teacher) and the cost of living here is ridiculous. I don't think I ever had any teachers who drove BMWs (at least not until I got to college). Not saying you can't do it, or shouldn't do it, just that from my own experiences I haven't really seen it done.

i think the most a teacher can make in washington with out being admin is like 53k but thats with tons of tenure and all that. I will be getting a M3 out of school brand new. It will be my own grad gift that, and a Tag Heuer.

I could keep my focus but i dont think i will. It depends how far away I live from my job and the parking situation. As for being lucky. It will take a lot of work to get that M3. 3 more years of school which will be around 60-65k. Good news is that I should be making six figures when I get out.
