Question front disc caliper bolts --HELP please ASAP

I am trying to replace my front brakes in my driveway. What size Allen wrench should I use to take the front calipers off with? The 1/4" is too small, 5/16" is too big. A #6 metric Allen is too small & a #8 metric is too big. Apparently there is no #7, at least not at the parts store. Do I need a special tool?

Good luck finding one.

99 cents at sears.com, and no shipping charge if you use ship-to-store.
