Well about the Mr. Clean Auto Wash. If you want to use quaility products on your car then use quaility products! If you just want a clean looking car then Mr. Clean will be fine. If you want to take ownership of you car finish then you need to spend the time washing your car by hand with products you know are safe on you car. And as for a sponge, use a Real lambswool wash mit.

Mother's all the way, baby. For me, it's Mother's on the outside, and ArmorAll on the interior.

I like to use Turtle Wax soap, leaves a nice shine on my Focus, I've used other off-brand car soaps and Turtle Wax def. sudds-up more and does not seem to strip wax. I'd love to try some of the new NXT soap just to compare.

NXT is a really good car wash that will not strip your wax. If you end up liking NXT try the Gold class. Nothing compares to gold class car wash.

I did because I am a detailer just like you, I know that you work for a shop that only uses Meguiar's so your gonna say they are the best as to not make your shop look bad. I used Meguiars GC for years but got feed up with there products being difficult to use in some enviroments. So I started trying other products and found Adam's and from customer feed back they all like the shine and longevity of Adam's over Meguiar's GC. I have yet to find a time when Adam's wax or polish was difficult to remove in any enviroment. Plus I have never had a single complant about Adam's products but got a few about Meguiar's GC from both customers and possible customers asking what products I use.

I don't work for a shop! I own the shop! And I have no affilation with Meguiar's besides being a customer. I am not going to say something is the best so I wont look bad. I dont even know how that would work. I use thier products because I use and seen the results I can achive with them. I stand behind thier products because I KNOW they work. And they work well.

What do you mean? What products, what environments? I personally dont use much of thier Gold Class (GC) line of products. I use thier soap and thier vinyl cleaner. Most of the products I use are from thier professional line. But Gold Class soap is the finest soap I have ever used hands down.

”Find something you like and use it often”

If you find a product you like, then apparently the results look good in your eyes, if you use it often, then your finish will always look great.

You said that Adam's soap is as good as Gold Class. I was just asking if that was based on prefrence/opinion or if there was some science behind the claim. Thats all.
