2004 SE transmission rebuild

Rebuilt the transmission had everything done and in the car. Started and ran without any noise tried to put in drive after being warmed up and nothing. Tried also in reverse nothing would not even feel like engaging. Had trouble with gear selection and jacked up the car thought I may have had the shift lever out of adjustment because it would not start in neutral. Now the bad news water in the fluid. Dropped the pan and found full of water. Not coming from the cooler the coolant passages within the transmission I must have gotten screwed up somehow. Can anyone give some advice please.

Mark

There is a trans cooler that goes to the radiator, correct?
Odds are one of the tubes in the radiator is cracked and leaking into the trans.
Replace radiator, flush trans and hope for the best.

Yah, trans fluid runs through radiator - not coolant through transmission.
