focus challenge east

i am starting to organize a focus challenge east with nasa va region. this will take place at tracks like summit point vir and others. there is already a west coast challenge. this is for street cars! hopefully it will be in place for a trial run later this year. meantime i have arranged to get group discounts at events this year if we get a big enough turnout. the 1st focus gathering is 5/22 and 5/23 at the new shenandoh circuit at summit. so far 6 foci signed up. as to the challenge it will be timed runs on a course with a handicapping system to even the field. the goal is to eventually, in future years, have regional runoffs and perhaps a national one. also to maybe morph into a race series like the honda challenge.
