Daily driver upgrades? no racing What works??

[ The 2007 SE that I drive 2000+ miles/mo. doing sales work has a push in
tight corners and the stock shocks are already showing signs of decreased
control at 5,000 miles. The extended warranty needs to be kept in effect for obvious reasons. What mods. will restore control, reduce the push, and still deliver a reasonably smooth ride for all day use?? Is this even doable? A rear
sway bar, stock dia. or larger is at least a must.

I heard of a website that makes a kit for 06 focus to accept 00-05 springs and struts so no need to change everything else just the spings and struts. I just cant remember the name for the life of me lol

Sounds like you are talking about Massive Speed System...their website is www.massivespeedsystem.com...the kit you are thinking of is their Omni-kit, which is a sleeve that fits over the bottom of the strut on the '00-'05 style strut, which then allows you to run a '00-'05 style suspension.

Just to clarify, I want to swap SVT rotors onto my '05 ST, do I or don't I need to swap the lower control arms? It appears the spindles are compatiable just not sure on the lower arms...thanks

You don't need to. You can swap the arms from a SVT into an ST and vice versa no problem. The only difference between the arms is the 03-04 (i believe those are the years) SVT's had a piece of metal welded to them to re-enforce them. Other than that they are the same.

Someone had posted a complete parts list for swapping the rear drums for disks on the 06-07. But for the life of me I cannot find it now. Anyone have better luck?
