does this mean on my 01 zx3 I could get a stock 05 Lower Control Arm and spindle then buy svt rotors, pads, and calipers and have a front svt setup? Also has anyone put 05' rear discs on a drum car? thanks for any info.

If this is so then, Phewwwww. Now on to the real question. What will it take to convert the rear drums to the larger rotors (SVT)? Sorry if this has been covered in a "how to" Im still new to the entire Ford deal and trying to learn from the ground up the hard way.
I think the strut tube diameter is a different size????

I believe so...if I'm not mistaken, the only difference between the '05 spindles and the '06 is the slot for the bottom of the strut is 5mm wider on the '06. I don't believe they changed the calipers between the two years.

Also, '00-'04 spindles won't fit an '05+ unless you change your ball joints, calipers and rotors. The '05 pretty much uses the SVT spindles because they increased the rotor size, the only difference between '05 and SVT being the ball joint stud diameter.

Jeremy, are you going to add the 07 model information to this thread?
The questions are coming up fairly often now.

I thought the suspensions manly stayed the same it says fits 00-04 DAMN IT wat do i do now i wanted a small drop and improved handleing even tho this car already loves the corners. And that kit offered what i wanted if i was going to lower any.

Rear drum for disc brake swap

I have a 2000 ZTS. How hard is it to change the rear drum brakes for later year factory discs and what all needs to be replaced?

what would be involved in adapting an 07 ses to use 00-05 springs/coilovers? what is the difference between 05, and 06-07?
