Both my 2000 and 2001 Cobra have a blue Ford oval on the rear, to the right of the license tag.

SVT did some work on the Shelby GT500, so they're putting the tags on. SVT has been axed, they are no more. Maybe if Ford makes a major turn-around and reclaims their previous 25% market share (possible, but doubtful) they'll bring SVT back, but I doubt it.

From a compact car enthusiast standpoint, it really doesn't matter if they bring SVT back or not. All of their actual work was on V-8 drag vehicles...the SVTF and SVTC were both just rebadged Euro models with cosmetic changes that met DOT standards with SVT tags slapped on them. If Ford ever brings a true performance compact back to the US, it'll undoubtedly just be a slightly redesigned Euro ST or RS model.
