Question best way to paint plastics

im plannin on painting some of my plastics in the summer i was hopeing to get some advice how what steps i need to take like do i need to sand and prime??

I used rustolem universal. Its great for plastic and no priming or sanding is needed.

Came out with a nice glossy finish.

The How-To's that were linked are a good guide to follow. My advice is to just take your time. Make sure everything is sanded down completely and do nice lights coats to avoid dripping.

depending on what color you want there is fusion paint that is specifically for painting plastic the prep other than cleaning the part with soap and water for a clean surface

ya im painting the radio bezel and probly around the vents maybe the center counsel the usual stuff lol
im going to paint it red so fuzion probly makes it.

I would also look into adhesion promoter while you're at it. Like Bull-dog. It's kind of expensive but works great.

use parts store plastic interior paint with a cheap clear coat.
