Had my brand new kit installed for 5k and some change now. I never had these issues. Makes sure everything is tight where there could be a vac leak.

Did you out the TB gasket on the right way? If put on wrong it will cause a leak.

TB installed correctly with gasket and spacer. Went through 2 cans of starter fluid looking for a vacuum leak. Next weekend I am taking it to a friends shop to inspect further, and do a smoke test if necessary.

I dont remember how far we got with your tuning ? WOT fueling ?

Is the strips on the SC wares thn it wont make boost like it should have you looked at the strips on the SC , had moss check it and say if there was any issues with them , had a customer a few years back that had to have it rebuilt because they were wore out

We didn't get to finish my tuning. I having really been driving the car. I will most likely have time to look at it next weekend. I just need to find someone local to look at the blower itself.

If we didnt get to the WOT tuning then that could cause some low boost , if we did get to WOT tuning how far did we get ? If we didnt get to 6000+ then you wouldnt be seeing all the boost the sc can make

Tuning won't controll boost on this setup.... Its all with the belt. Belt slippage, belt tensioner. Boost leaks

Are the numbers your talking about at redline for 5 psi, or when you initially go WOT

To a point yes , if the engine is running very rich or very lean and not efficient it could still cause a loss of 2-4psi
