Transmission Swap

I own A 00' SPI. Just curious on how much it would cost to convert my auto to a manual. Parts and all??Thanks. I've got 2 much money in the body to just get rid of it and start new with a already manual Focus. THanks.

Everyone always say its not worth it, so my guess is it would cost a hell of alot. Your better off trading your car in for a manual. I would say it would be close to $4000-7,000! Depending if your a skilled mechanic or if you get a shop to do the swap.

I was told when I had my SPI it was gonna be 2,000 just for the parts alone. At the time I was not confident enough in my mechanical skills I got a quote from a shop, estimate was around 3,000-4,000 dollars
