DanoZX3, first off I'm glad you have been corrected, in my gender. Second off my name is not Missy. Third off, I dont care if you like my tach or not. I have no stock shift light that comes on in my dash. That is not a feature that is on the SVT Focus.

Btw to R&D I am sorry for hijacking your post, people like this are clearly not meant to participate in a public forum.

I like how you talk that you have a stock shifter light.....if you follow that light to shift no wonder you're so angry at life.....you're doing 35 mph...:)

Peace..........

I thought you said you were going home? How about signing off? Now I keep getting dumb emails for replies on this thread...all of which have been useless thanks to you. Good job. Another thread wasted.

Ok, I will be the fool.... and this is certainly on topic. Could someone explain briefly what this differential is? I've heard it mentioned but I really don't think I have any understanding of what it does, though I've inferred that it involves the tranny!

go here it will explain everything you need to know about differentials. What a quafie does is basically give both wheels the same power all the time so you don't spin the inside tire on a turn or do a one-wheel-queer burn out.

I'm sorry that my thread got hijacked off topic, thank you all that help to get it back on track.

I got to try my car out on a good road with some great twisties in it, I must say that this mod does not cease to amaze me. The differance is just remarkable, my car hugged and cornered great, it was wonderful how it performed, you can feel the difference in the steering. Knowing what I know now I should have purchased the Quaife sooner.
