Trying to put the new clusters in.... I made a booboo and damaged them!

ARRGh!



I tried to put them in anyway.. but in testing... I found it doesn't work out.



As you can see.. it makes the needle catch at around 5000 RPMs.

That doesn't work so much. Haha. MAYBE I can file it down or something... but I'm not sure. It will prolly look like crap... As it does now.

I tried a small strip of electrical tape too to smooth it out, but the clearance is just so small it still catches.

Any ideas?

Should I just order new ones? (ugh... there goes $100)... or try and fix the ones I got? They still work fine.

why don't you try sanding down the needle alittle so that it does not catch. that way you don't have to scuff up thye gauges anymore than you have too. I pretty sure its cheaper to get needles than to buy another gauge plate thingy
