hooking up speedhut gauges to factory dimmer...

Anyone know which wire im supposed to tap into to get my new guages to dim with the factory switch? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

When I install those gauge faces I tap into the ORANGE/BLUE wire on the wiring harness on the back of the headlight switch. Use a normal ground (the screws on the actual fuse panel work awesome) and that wire will allow you to use the dimmer. It worked on a 2000, 2001 focus I've done and I doubt FORD changed the wiring design on other models.

well i finally found which box in the attic my multimeter was in and it is the orange/blue one that is controlled by the dimmer. thanks s2.
