Nitrous Questions on SVT motor
Hey guys,
I have a 02 Svt stock except for air intake and a tune from Wayne. I was wondering if you absolutely have to have a fuel pressure safety switch with the nitrous? Also, is the stock tune fine to run a 50 shot on or do I need to get another tune to fatten it up some? Lastly, are all the nitrous Bottles the same? I bought a kit the has a NOS bottle, but it has the NX shark nozzle and the NX jets so I was just curious if all the bottles were the same. |

^^^that's the same combo I have, it works just fine. Bottles are bottles, there is no difference other than size and material.

Bottles are bottles, but if your tune is for a NA set-up you need to take it out or get a nitrous tune. You usually pull a little timing for nitrous, and the standard street tunes usually advance the timing some. That is oposite what you want in your tune for nitrous.
