Lightbulb How to make smoked tail lights on zx3

1.List of items or tools required for the project

Flathead screwdriver

Phillips head screwdriver

2 Packs of Black womans pantyhose(the self estem to go to the store and buy these without a girl with you unless of course your a girl)
About $2 each

2) Length of project.

30 mins- 1 hour

3) Difficulty level of the project between 1-10.

2.5

4) Detailed description of procedures broken down into multiple steps.

1. Begin by oppening the trunk of you focus.
2. Start by unscrewing the phillips screw on the outer rim of the light.
3. Inside the car there is a whole with a thumbscrew almost a wingnut, unscrew that.
4. Now you have to tug pretty hard. The corner at the very top by the shinny triangle tends to have the weatherstripping stuck. i slid a flat head screwdriver and pryed it off but be careful for the paint.
5. Once the Light is off disconnect the lightsbulb holders but be careful they push down and slide to the left then come out
6. Now that its free take one pack of the pantyhose and cut off one of the legs slowly slide it over the light it will be very tight so be care ful not to rip it, now use the other leg and double wrap it.
7. Now cut little holes where the lightbulb holder go in and follow every step backwards.
8. Make sure light is secure and repeat to other light
9. Enjoy you light cover that are very cheap and look awsome.
10. BTW Very easy to see at night

Didn't we have a thread on here about someone over on the SRT-4 forums doing that to their own car and they were getting flamed for it?

Well, the thought that I know I would be sporting woman's panty hose on my car is kinda disturbing frankly, but I think it looks very good actually..........if no one knew what it was, I think the final pics look great, can you take some closer pics?

And I would think they would get dusty, but I assume a regualr touchless car wash nozzle would clean that right up.

Up close they look better than any spray paint or tint i have seen. I just washed my car yesterday and the regular hose and soap clean it perfectly. I know people on the forum will think its "ghetto" but i really like the final product and it
was a cheap mod. Personally i love it so far and would suggest it to anyone to atleast try. You can dog on something unless you try it yourself.
