I'm sorry but i'm trying to installt his used volant i bought and the two bolts tat hold the main peice to the O2 sensor are nto comming out of the main peice. Their appears to be a brass fitting in side the main peice that the bolts go into and the brass fitting is spinning with it

We have tried everything and i cant get the bolts out.

yeah, that shouldn't be happening......the last person tourqued the bass threads, and broke 'em loose.....you may have to punch out the fitting and epoxy it back in there and try again when it cures......good luck!

if the bolt is stuck WITH the fitting still, punch the fitting and bolt out and put the fitting in a vise and get that bolt out, then try the epoxy step above....

yea it sounds like someone definitly tighted those bolts alittle too much, or when they were trying to take it off they turned the bolts the wrong way.

^^^no hes talking about the volant elbow, the little elbow that attaches to the air filter....there are two holes in there that you screw bolts into that attach the MAF to the Volant air box. Apparently some screwed up, or should i say screwed too much and now one of them is loose.

how do you get the volant to be secure? my box jus sits there, and it moves around, and rattles and I don't see any bolts or anything for it to bolt down.

there isnt any. It just sits there, the hood is what is supposed to keep it in place.

I just ran my power wires to my amps under the volant box so the hood pushes it down some and keeps it in place better.
