Wheelskins for Ford Focus

Trying to figure out which Wheelskins color to get for my daughters 07 Ford Focus SE. It has the charcoal/blackish interior. Can't decide if black or charcoal would look best. Her steering wheel is all marked up so I wanted to cover it with a nice cover.

Anyone have pic's of wheelskins on this color?

Thanks

I'm moving this to the MkI Interior section for you.

Not as active an area, but you're more likely to contact someone with the info. (picture) you want here.

I'd Vote for Black, since it doesn't show dirt as much. Personal preference is for the perforated foam style you stretch around the wheel then lace on. Work to install, but they give a nice grip, last indefinitely, and are comfortable to grab as a plain wheel.

I'm guessing the wheelskins are the type that are molded and just snap over the wheel (didn't recognize the brand my myself). That type can be a bit awkward to handle in my personal opinion.

Welcome to FF!

I'm not a fan of skins/covers for the steering wheel, dont feel like they are safe/secure. Worried they not be attached well and slide when i want to turn.

I replaced my 2007 steering wheel with an SVT wheel, much nicer. the leather feels much better to the touch and looks much nicer. Always a few on ebay and they are pretty easy to install.

Not the greatest picture but only one i found at the moment, you can see how the black leather looks. Matches the rest of the dark interior well. You can google images for direct pictures of the SVT wheel but probably wont see many in an 05-07 interior.

Wheelskins are actually leather and they are sewn on. No slipping. Nice feel.
Figured many would have them on their steering wheels.

Thanks much

Here's the one I just put on my 2003 wagon. I think these are the colors you're talking about. I also got the perforated leather. I love it, very comfortable.

I think those look great. Love the ability to customize colors and pattern.
