05 vs 06 Rear Diffuser - interchangeable ?

Are the rear diffusers on the 05 ST and the 06 ST with the SAP interchangeable ? Or would the entire rear bumper have to be swapped ? Thanks !

I'm going to look @ an 06 that has had front end damage. If the diffusers are simply interchangeable, I'm going to think about swapping them out. Thanks for the input!

you can probably find someone with an SAP kit who wants to trade. Or you could go find Duffman's car and jack his.

I've got some minor damage (happened yesterday while at work) and a friend of mine is partners in a body shop in A2. He's going to check it out for me later today. He THINKS one of the auction cars he has is an 06 with the SAP. If so, then we're going to look into making a swap. Otherwise I'll stick to what I have.

I'm sure Duffman likes his car the way it is. ^^

I know he likes it. I like it to. But if he doesnt know its you, he can't blame you. Besides, it's detroit, things like that get jacked all the time.

The SAP rear difusser has a more right angle (and has a lip to meet up with the insert) than the regular ST rear bumper. I have already checked it out side by side. Looks like the whole rear would have to be changed. You could possible trim it to fit though.

If I didn't read the thread, maybe you could get away with it. I'll be on the lookout
I know Massive got a whole new rear bumper with the diffuser. It would take some fabrication to make it work with the 05 I'm pretty sure.
Doug what happened? You back into a pole or something?
Oh and off topic, my mom's friend was downtown on Saturday night, and their car got jacked.
