Short Shifters

what up what up.

I'm about to purchase a short shifter for my '03 SVTF.

I've seen Focus Central, Steeda, Ford Racing have short shifters available.

Has anyone used/owned one of these shifters, what would you reccommend?

I don't want to have any problems with the Reverse lockout or any clips or whatever breaking as i've heard this happens with some brands.

Any advise is appreciated

Paul

I don't think you need to worry about reverse lockout, because if it is what i think it is, the SVTF doesn't have it. I have not heard of problems with either kit.

As far as the shifters, the FC is shorter than the steeda.

Sorry I can't help more, but I haven't used either.

I have the STEEDA Tri AX/F and love it. It is about 1.5" shorter than stock, but is redesigned to
shorten the shift throw not just chop the length of the shifter. I really liike it but wth any mod, you have to go with what you like.
