Hey I know how you feel man. All i have really done to my car is put on a home made (crappy looking but works better than stock) exhaust and some custom intior paint. I picked up a underglow kit today on sale cheep for 60 dollers and a friend of mine said i was ricing it out because i bought a 3 inch exhaust tip for my exhaust. It is big i will give it that but i did only because it is Stailess steal and i cant afford to have a perfesional or catback system installed. I bought the tip only because it will not rust like chrome ones. And up in alaska they put alot of salt down on the roads so they rust out fairly quick. How ever i have beeten him several times with my Focus against his 98 GT mustang. We both agree if he screws up off the line (slow start to quick off the clutch without enuph gas and so on) his but is mine. He can not catch me untill we get up to excessive speeds wich doesnt happen. So when ever he gets off on his whole "your car is a 4 banger and turnen Rice" theme i just remind him of his bad take offs and my kicken his as with a " 4 bangen rice thing" lol

Some people call glow nice...some people call it rice. You have to understand where people are coming from when they call glow rice. 3/4 of the times that you see glow on a car it looks like complete crap, mismatched colors, tubes showing, just done with no taste. Also look at the cars that usually have underbody neons, they are most of the time stock performance wise with just some ricer stickers and some nasty looking "euro" tailights. Generally neons=rice but theres exceptions to every rule.

matt, post up the new ones, i agree glow = not rice, the only thing that "made it rice" was the fast and the furious movies that everyone hates on...

^^ liar! anyway man, you're cool with me as long as you don't put a faux carbon fiber spoiler on it. plus, i think knowing the owner helps a bit, as the car is typically teh reflection of the drivers personality....
excepting that means i have four bent rims out of two complete sets, a cracked front valence, and when i'm cold it takes me awhile to warm up? hmmm..... no, jk man, i still like it.
