Volant intake and breather!!!

OK, i had some problems in the past while having my volant on and my car stalled once,i dont know why. But my question is you guys know how in the bottom of the stock intake box you have alittle breather filter pad, does one of those come on the volant intake, im not sure b/c i got mine used from a previous owner, and im not sure if he took it off. So i wanted to know if there was a filter of some kind of does the tube that goes from the valve area to the intake box just get put right into the volant box without need of a breather pad? Thanks i hope people can help this time....so like go out and look inside your volant box to see whats it in lol.

Not that I know of. It's kinda like a Pre-Filter Filter. Nothing that i'd worry about. I would more or less be concerned with the last time you changed your fuel filter. My car stalled on me twice over the weekend before my intake mani install and has yet to stall, but i'm having a HIGH Idle problem that just seems now to start to level itself out. But i'm not hi-jacking your thread but i wouldn't worry about the pre filter filter.

Hey, I hooked my breather tube into the volant air box. It came with this little tab that screws into the air box which holds the beather tubing. It's weird how volant sets that up though cause when i had the aem intake it hooked right into the piping of the intake. So I hope i have mine installed right but my car runs fine.

ok but the volant doesnt have any type of breather filter right, so im not missing anything?? And the breather tube just sucks up air directly from the box.

^^^oh ok, well that makes perfect sense, yea he probably forgot about it and left it on his car. Alright thanks so much. Ill go to autozone or pep boys or something to get a new one. What should i tell them, b/c im not sure on what size im suppose to get. Does anyone know the diameter of the hose and what length i should get, i need a longer one, but i dont want it too be too long and have it bunch up.

Wait omg i just thought of something, its not possible that theirs a filter inside the breather tube is there, b/c then id definitly have a problem.
