What should I add to my dream Mods list?

3. Iceman Cold Air Intake with side duct (Black or Blue)-$199.99
5. Focus Central 65mm Throttle Body (Silver)-$239.00
6. Esslinger Lightweight Adjustable Cam Gears (Blue)-$249.95
Exhaust:
1. Bosal Cat-back exhaust-$319.00
2. Bosal Flex Pipe-$109.00
3. Random Technology Super High Flow Catalytic Converter Pipe-$298.00
-OR- Focus Central Offroad Pipe-$129.95
4. Ford Racing Shorty Header-$335.00

What should I add to my dream mod list? I am thinking of a FR head, Crower or FR stage 1 cams, pistons, and rods and springs. But is there any other bolt on that I missed that I could put on that list before I add the big stuff? I have a feeling I missed something. Thanks.

That's a pretty good list. Not sure you need to worry about the head, pistons, rods unless you go with a turbo setup though. Flywheel is probably a good idea.

From those prices, I can tell you been looking at McNews prices, Ford Racing street header for $335 is stupid ! Why they find it necessary to undercut every competitor by so much is beyond me, I can't even buy the FR street header for $335.... Just because they can get WD pricing doesn't make it right that they "whore" out the products... Even $239 for the FC t/b is well below what FC wants it's dealers selling them for. Focus Central retails the t/b for $279 and dealers are supposed to sell them for no more/less than 10% off retail, which should be $251.10. Makes it kinda hard for the rest of us to compete, and I hope McNews reads this !

Ok, I'm done complaining

Yeah, I was looking at McNews but that's only because they are the cheapest. But I think I'm going to buy the Ford Racing Shorty header from myfordperformance.com in the future.

What do you think of the esslinger cam gears by the way? In your opinions, are there any better ones?

Myfordperformance.com, maybe they are trying to monopolize you other companies. Kind of like what Rockefeller did with his oil back in the late 19th and early 20th century or what Bill Gates got in trouble for. It's called Vertical integration.

They are good. The Ford Racing gears are made by Esslinger and rebadged, so either one, you can't go wrong. The Focus Central adj. cam gears are good too.

Possible I guess. Whatever their reason, it's just not necessary. They are a Ford Racing distributor, and you can find them in the back of the 2003 Ford Racing catalog, which means they also sell Mustang and Truck products from Ford Racing, the Focus should be a small part of their business and to try and put other vendors out of business is not right, in fact there's probably a law against it.

BTW, I can match some of their prices if it means getting a sale, not the Ford Racing stuff, but Focus Central, Bosal and the like, seeings how I buy the same stuff from the same source...
