Shark Fin Antenna

Well, Im pretty damn sick of my antenna. IMO it makes the car look like crap; ruins the lines of it. Ive always wanted to go to my friends junkyard and yank one off an audi or bmw then wire it up, knowing Id also have to paint it. But then the google gods smiled upon me and I came across this...SHARK FIN . Im so willing to spend the money; and so far I havent found anyone thats actually done this same mod to keep the antenna in the front and functional. Thoughts?

Mike

OK, where are the photochop experts... I'm thinking that might look a bit funny on the front of the roof when it's designed to go on the back...

Sorry already did this one, however I moved it to the rear just before my third brake light. Got the idea from the Saab I bought. It was the stock antenna on it. Reception was still pretty good but I don't even listen to the radio.

I sealed it to the car with an epoxy I bought at autozone. The antenna cable is ran under the headliner and down the passenger A-Pillar.

I'm mounting it to the front area. I'll let you know what it looks like.

EDIT: I got ahold of the company and they are willing to test it first and make changes to be able to mount it in the stock location.
