If you read through all of the posts on this topic, I think we've covered it. But, to sum it up....

There have been people that have passed the OBDII test and sniffer test with an ORP with either an MIL eliminator or just by clearing the codes before going for the test. However, though the OBDII test is relatively easy to get past, the sniff test will not be (depending on your state/county and it's requirements).

I know my car would not, as you can easily distinguish the 'odd' exhaust smell that my car has from the ORP.

yes i have a gutted out oem cat w/stock header and not that loud till about 4500rpm's but soon to have the jba header shorty installed so ill let you know

why gut your cats those things can be worth some money. We will see what my SVT one is worth here shortly!! But good info on this thread... LONG but got a few things i needed out of it.. Glad that we dont have emission info. Also the people that do check your emissions do not have the full software to ref. all the codes the and ecu will log OBD2 ill show some but it you clear crap out they wont be able to look back into it. I am not 100% sure on how Ford ECU totally work but with my company there is alway a ref. code that will have to be cross ref. to check and when a code it gone its out unless it is in the engine protection history like if someone runs it out of oil and keeps driving but like i said my companys ECM's are a little different i am sure considering a 300 HP change to a engine is a 15 min. tune away....

hey all jw which is better a hi flow cat or a gutted out oem cat. i have jba shorty header with stock flex and magnaflow exhaust. what would be better in performance.

i got a question....what is the order of exhaust parts in the focus..? does the air go header>flex>cat>exhaust or header>cat>flex>exhaust?

I want to run a trubendz cat back exhaust with an ORP. i need an o2 cheater? Where do i get it? is there another way?? I have OBD2 emmisions checks.

steeda use to have them but stopped but u can get a chip and turn it off
