I have the SVT kit from McNews a very good product. It comes in two versions with hi-flo cat and without, the without utilizes the ORP. From what I understand (you probably know better than me)California is pretty strict and anything that varies from stock is a problem. If you had the SVT kit with hi-flo cat and all they did was a sniff test you should be OK but if they do a visual and they know what they are doing you'll probably be screwed. With the FS set up you mentioned you would definetly fail...with the SVT Kit & Hi-Flo cat you might have a chance.

im sorta confused. i went to mcnews, and found the part, but apperently i have to get 2M5Z-5E212-AA <---- that part number?
im getting a full magnaflow exhaust on my car. and i want to get these headers, can i just get the headers, or do i have to buy something else?

I checked McNews and I can't find the kit. Do they still carry it? And will it fit with a focus sport exhaust?

It should match up to most of the popular cat back(flex back) exhaust kits.

New: 04 SVT : K&N panel filter, 3 performance motor mounts, Taylor wires, orp, 67mm TB, Tom's Tune.

technically no shorty will give good gains. but since i'm also ging this way it's a randomtech hfc and pick one you like combo. they all flow pretty much equal. but i'd find a cramic coated one to drop in there. especailly if you live in salty areas like i do (i think the hfc is seramc coated but don't hold me as the gospel on this)

i want to replace my stock exhaust and i plan on doing it myself but ive never done it before so i want to get the full exhaust without any welding...could i get the JBA headers with a RT hi-flo cat and a catback exhaust and be able to put them all together without any problems with sizeing or needing extra pipeing? im getting a 2.25 cat back btw
