Baer Brake Kit Vs. Stock SVT Kit

I guess what Im asking for in this piost is any information about the baer break kit and if this would be significantly better than the svt kit. I would think that it would be better, but a friend of mine tried telling me that the svt focus uses the same brakes as the svt cobra and that a baer break kit wouldnt be any better. Is this true or is my frriend blowing smoke up my ass? Also, if it is better, how so?

the svt does not use cobra brakes. the baer brake kit is the equivalent of cobra brakes, uses the same caliper and same size rotors and pads.

The Baer brakes would be better, however they are VERY expensive! IMO, not a good buy unless you plan on driving on the track a lot!

the baer kit is better but as said before if you arent doing track racing then it probably isnt worth spending the money on since you already have the svt brakes. the money could be better spent on other performance parts

I found the baer front ones for 770, they are the track kit. I do a couple track days but I am wondering how will the ride be with this kit. Also, they have 13 inch rotors will they fit into my 04 wheels?

Sure, but the calipers won't

this is of course if you have 16" wheels

I have the 04 SVT wheels, they are 17 but damn if it fits it's gonna fill that wheel up. I'm just making sure there is enough room.
