First Drag Race @ irwindale. [times]

Im not really big into dragging but I decided to take the focus for fun and see what it would do. Only thing Im dissappointed at is my R/T, I know I could do MUCH better but I only got in 2 runs and It was my first time drag racing. Anyways just wanted to know how the numbers look for a stock 2000 focus.

Oh BTW i only got a chance to run twice and only prep I did was take out my spare tire and jack.

1/8 mile: 10.350 MPH: 68.19 60': 2.41 R/T: .653

A 10.350 in the 1/8 is about a 16.146 (rough calculation) in the 1/4. Not bad for a nearly stock (performance wise) fOCUS.

yea 10.3 is pretty good for a stock focus. 60' could be better, but you prolly had the same prob as me, no traction. And the R/T doesnt figure in to the 1/4 mile time, it only helps if you are doing heads up racing without times because it matters who gets to the other end first. 60' is more important than R/T.
