Question 50 shot or 75 shot?

I have a 05' zx3 duratec 2.0L, air intake and about to replace the exhaust with 2 1/4 piping I know i have to open up the piping for more air flow but i guess my question would be what would be safe for this engine? A 50 shot or 75? I have a t.v. in my car to wich i will be running tuning programs and i am going with the zex system for the safest route. Some replys would be nice. Thanks.

General rule of thumb is apparently 50% of the power you're producing is safe. IE: ~150hp, then a 75 shot is safe.

Start with the 50 shot, get it running right, and then if you want you can easily go to a 75 ( all you have to do is change the jets ). I would get a tune if going to 75HP. Also read the nitrous sticky at the top of this page, it may answer a few questions.

Get a tune and spray a 75 shot. I never even bothered wasting my time with a 50. Go big or go home. Don't be a wuss.

Best to start small for testing though. Err on the side of caution when things can go boom.

yep better to start off smaller unless you have experance with the gas but you would probably not be asking this question if you had.
