SVT Header

If i remove the header from an SVT focus, will that header fit my Zetec? If yes, is that the header people talk about that its like the best?

the svt header is the best out there.
you will need to do a EGR delete and get the SVT dipstick. it is also recommended to get the powersteering lines from it as well. otherwise you can boil the fluid in the normal focus.
you will ALSO need a svt orp or cat.

If you remove the EGR system you'll have to tune it out to avoid getting a CEL...

Yes it will fit....you can weld on a new EGR bung or delete it like scrammer said. I just did the swap along with the power steering line.....trust me it is well worth it to just bend your current p/s line out of the way because it was a bitch trying to get the new line on. just take some wrap and wrap it around the line over the header.

If you just order the kit from Mike you will also get a new EGR tube.

well i found a header from a used svt

Now i kinda got lost on what has to be done to work with it.
What is EGR Bung?
And whats an SVT orp

The EGR (exhaust gas return) bung is a threaded socket on the #3 collector that the EGR tube screws into and sends some of the exhaust into the intake to control NOX emissions. SVTs do not have an EGR system, but the Ford Racing retrofit SVT header includes an EGR bung and revised tube (because it goes to a different location than stock) to accomodate the EGR system.

You can run without EGR...you just need to remove the EGR tube and DFPE sensors and block off the EGR port on the intake manifold.

that one^ is from a svt so it doesnt have an egr
