Wish me luck!

Well, I put it off, and I just can't anymore. Starting this morning, I'll be putting my Focus onder the proverbial knife.

Here's a list of the toys just waiting to be replaced:

*Clutch
-Pressure Plate
-Friction Disc
-Slave Cylinder/Release Bearing
*Flywheel
*Rear Main seal
*Front Wheel Bearings
*Brake Rotors & Pads
*Front Hub Nuts
*Lower Ball Joints (There is now serviceable ball joints! Just drill out the old riveted ones!)
*Spark Plugs
*Ignition Wires
*Fuel Filter
*PCV Valve & Filter
*Oil & Oil Filter

I'm sure I'm forgetting something here, but I'm exhausted. This is sure to be some good quality time with the Focus...Wish me luck!

Yeah the cluster wsap was a cinch. There's a billion posts about it.

And I finished the work, the car's running great. Due to my hectic schedule, it took about a week to get the clutch and flywheel swapped out. I was dealing with a crazy work schedule, and the few days I could get off from work I had 45 mph winds and then the next day we got almost 3 feet of snow. But I was out there turning wrenches. It wasn't always fun, had a problem with bad bolts and tools crapping out on me. But I have good air tools, and a SWEET frigging tranny jack so it was all worth it. Especially since I didn't have to get raped by Ford to do it.

Yeah, raped...I just threw 1300 on the CC for ford to swap an oil pump...I think i could have tackled the job, but i live in an apartment and the folks live 300 miles north. It was either tow it for 600, and wrench on it myself, or monster up and pay the stealership.
