Post msd digital window switch will it work with the coil on plug setup on durtech

dos any body know if msd digital window switch works on the durteck switch is new and it is not on their web site yet but some shop have them

Yes, it will work. You just need a tach driver.

called msd tech line today to check with them cause the shop i got it from say no other components needed msd says hookup wire to negative side of one coil for tach signal

Okay, I tried the one on the right (whereas, you are looking at the coil, and the connectors are at the bottom). I spliced into the wiring harness that clicks onto the coil with a little splicing thingy...no signal...(green wire with black stripe). I did the same on the one with the green wire on the left, my window switch tach activated. I am VERY glad this thing has an rpm display or otherwise someone hooking it up wouldn't know it was operational. Kinda nifty.

So it was one or the other, and on my car the one that worked was on the left..lol. I wish they had just marked it!

i tried this...the thing is it does get a signal. but it read nothing as far as rpms. it didnt go past 1000. what am i doing wrong??

your tach needs to be set to 1 cylinder mode, or just do what everyone else does, tap into the crank sensor wiring
