a little hard to belive

was in the shop for repairs the other day one of the things i asked them to look at was the head lamps, the low beams would not work only highs, so i put new bulbs in and the same thng the dealer said that i i was using high performance bulbs in there, and that those caused it by heating up thw wiring , even though the bulbs were xenon, they were the same type h4 and wattage of the orignal ones yet i had topay 45 for them to say this to me

Its possible. I've heard of higher wattage bulbs melting the headlight housing, so it could be possible that something in the wiring broke. Did you check the relays? There is one to turn the low beams off when the highs come on. Not sure which one.
