EGR delete...

Tom:
As for this. When I hook up the to the emisions tester it says not found or not detected. What is the correct way to go about deleting it from the ecu or??? Everything else matches up but this.

There was no code it was a system error or not complete.. I reset the ecu about 3oo miles ago and no light has yet to come on. I just thought for shits and giggles I would see if it would pass. There is a code that comes up some times it is p1000. And I believe that is a system diagnostic code. But so now I`m thinkin and guide me if I`m wrong to pass I think there needs to be some pressure realized in the stock egr system. And if the intake side is blocked off so no hot gassaes return, With that said maybe I can run a tube to the egr from the back side of the down pipe to give it a little presure. I don`t think it needs to be large maybe 1/2 inch at most but just enough to make the egr think its getting back to the intake.

The p1000 code will allways come up and does not keep it from passing or not here anyway

I dont know about Ohio but here in NC your allowed 1 not ready on 2001 and newer vehicles and 2 not ready on 2000 and older. You may want to check into that.
